First off, I want to thank everyone who came to our general meeting in August. We had a great meeting and turnout. Keep it up. Remember to bring a friend and come early to enjoy the dinner and drink specials for American Thunder at The Black Angus. Everyone who brought a BACKPACK to our last meeting, give yourself a BIG pat on the back. American Thunder came through with donating over 30 school supply-packed backpacks for our youths in Orange County schools. Everyone associated with American Thunder should feel proud to be a part of this group. I want to take a moment and thank Tim and Diane Sommerville for their continued dedication in putting on TACO THURSDAY. For those of you that have not attended one of these, you are missing out. Last week we rode to Miguel’s in Foothill Ranch and had over 25 riders along. These mid-week rides are an absolute blast to attend. Any success American Thunder has had this year can be contributed to these two people. Both are always positive and will do anything I ever ask. I would not be Director this year if it were not for the support of Tim and Diane. They are true THUNDERHEADS. In closing, I want to remind everyone THUNDERATION is rapidly approaching. This is our big fundraising event for the year. Tony Huerta has been doing a great job at organizing this event. We need everyone to help by getting the word out.
